Police close London park after claim drones aimed at Israeli Embassy

Police have closed Kensington Gardens in London after a video emerged claiming that drones carrying 'radioactive and cancer-causing materials' had been launched toward the Israeli embassy. Officers have established cordons around the park and are assessing a number of discarded items, with some personnel wearing protective clothing as a precaution.

The group Harakat Ashab al Yamin al Islamia released footage showing individuals in white protective suits handling drones bearing the group’s logo before one appeared to take off. The group said it had entered a 'second phase of operations' and claimed responsibility for the alleged drone launch.

Police said the Israeli embassy has not been attacked and that there is no indication of an increased risk to public safety at this time. Counter terrorism officers are investigating the authenticity of the video and examining whether it is linked to the items found in the park.
