The United States has seized a massive oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, which President Donald Trump described as the largest ever taken by the country. The vessel, named The Skipper, was captured in a coordinated operation involving Coast Guard members, Marines, and special operations forces. US officials say the tanker was sanctioned for its ties to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah, and had been used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran.
